The Constitution Square State Historic Site was the birthplace of Kentucky's
statehood. The park features historic houses and momuments, including Watts-Bell House, and Isaac Shelby Cemetery State Historic Site. The park hosts the Historic Constitution Square Festival in September, and Christmas Remembered in December.

Raven Run Nature Sanctuary
Full of 600 species of plants and 200 types of birds, the 470 acres of the Kentucky River Palisades are preserved through this sanctuary. The park also includes over 10 miles of hiking trails so nature is easily accessible.
